The memorial was built as part of the Anna's promenade, commemorating the former stone theatre in Füred. The 6 stone columns of the entrance to the demolished neoclassical theatre, which were erected in the Small Forest, have been preserved. The memorial was built using the 6 columns, complete with a timber-framed lattice back wall and a timpanum, also of timber construction, with a standing-frame copper-plate roof. The whole structure stands on a stone-clad plinth, joined on either side by a low stone-clad retaining wall. The restoration of the old stone columns in their original order and the addition of purely timber-framed additions recreate the portico of the former theatre.
