The transformation of an intersection of old streets into a real square at the edge of the historic centre of Nagymaros. The location was chosen to accomodate a statue created on the initiative of citizens for the Year of St. Elizabeth, thus the name of the square. The statue of Saint Elizabeth was made by the sculptor István Lukács. The sculpture was placed in front of 3 old cellar doors. Its backdrop is a moat made of natural stone, its new wooden railing, and a strip of bushes on the other side of the moat.
Wooden benches and a litter bin have been added.
