The villa is situated on a hillside in the Buda hills, offering a magnificent view of the city. The owners wanted a home that captured the atmosphere of a typical early-20th-century family villa. The building was thus designed by reimagining the eclectic character of Buda’s hillside bourgeois residences, while giving the classical structure and details a more expressive form. The ground floor features living areas, a bedroom, and a study; the attic houses the children’s bedrooms; and the basement contains a pool area and utility rooms. The owners’ attention to detail is evident in the high-quality craftsmanship and the extensive use of carved Jura stone elements throughout the house.
