The building is situated in the area undergoing regeneration in the Szerencs wine cellar district, amongst new residential buildings. At the foot of the vineyards, on the site of the former wine cellars and utilising a smaller existing cellar, the house would be built partly underground and largely with a green roof. Adapting to the steeply sloping terrain, its mass comprises two parts: The living areas are set into the ground and frame the central courtyard, whilst the garage and terrace are housed in a separate two-storey block adjacent to the street. The street-facing appearance of this annexe is defined by the traditional character of the neighbourhood, whilst the main part of the house is set back and remains hidden from view from the street.
