The school swimming pool is attached to the previously existing, functioning high school building named after István Bocskai. The building is composed of two main masses. One part is the swimming pool, the other part is built on the site of a former building and has various functions (swimming pool changing rooms, lobby, snack bar, classrooms, educational counsellor, etc.).
The swimming pool is a one-storey, large-air building, with a 13.5 m x 25 m pool in the larger half and a 6 m x 12 m training pool in the smaller half.
The other wing is two storeys. At one end (both levels) are the changing rooms for the swimming pool. The main entrance and lobby are located in this part of the building, which can also be accessed from the existing high school building via a staircase from the gallery level of the swimming pool wing. The other half of this wing houses classrooms and an educational counsellor.
The two parts of the building are each a semi-detached mass sloping down to the street, with the gable wall of the swimming pool and its continuation, a stone fence, enclosing the site at the bend in the street.
The building is clad in exposed brick, except for the aforementioned gable wall and fence, which are of coursed stone. The house has a flat pitched roof covered with sheet metal. The roof over the pool decks is a simple structure of glued timber main beams.
