After the flooding of the Sajó, the existing building was renovated, converted and extended as a public investment.
The original house had a ridge gable roof parallel to the street, with a gable wall at either end, and a smaller gable roof, also with a gable wall, extending into it at the eastern corner (the mass of the later extension).
The enlarged building was given a completely new roof extension to its U plan form. The main mass continued to be a gable roof with a ridge parallel to the street, but in a contoured design. The two wings facing the garden, with lower ridge heights, also had contoured gable roofs. Covering the exterior spaces (barrier-free ramp, porch, basement entrance) were formed by continuing the roof planes of the main mass.
The roof is covered with natural, straight-cut grooved tiles. The plastered facades of the house were constructed with timber frames, timber cladding and also timber shutters.
