Hungary's first community wineries were built by the Tokaj-Hegyalja Mountain Community Council in 2019.
Stretching out on the edge of three settlements like brothers of different ages, the three chateaux stand in for the logo of the wine.
We wanted to use the local architectural culture to create an appealing industrial building, which has a regional character with unique brand elements.
The community function and the use of state resources represent a kind of puritanism and architectural unpretentiousness, while showcasing the sophisticated culture of the Tokaj-Hegyalja community.
In addition to its simple mass and archetypal industrial atmosphere, the building is dominated by the unique local characteristics of construction materials and other details.
